(no subject)
I'm really most dreadfully neglectful of this journal, I haven't posted since the last frantic days of last semester.
So what have I been up to?
I went to New Zealand for the holidays for the first time since '95, I spent a week with the delightful Ali in Christchurch. We spent our days trolling the streets, and our nights harassing her co-workers (wait, that was just me). I bid farewell to the lovely sunny (it was sunny while I was there, I swear) streets of Christchurch and moved onto Wellington where the ever charming Trish met me. Wellington didn't make as good an impression, but I suspect that was largely due to the endless wind and drizzle. It had really grown on me by the time I was due to leave, and I really didn't want to come home... truth be told I was looking online for jobs. But I made it to the airport and paid to leave the country, and came home to my beloved Heath who was waiting for me.
I spent the following weeks helping get the Kat-grrl ready for departure, still feels like she is just up in Nhill, and I am half expecting her home at the end of each weekend, even though I am fully aware that she is OS.
Am back at school, still part time this semester, but even so there never seems to be enough time. One of my subjects is a writing workshops, with weekly assignments of 700 words, and I haven't missed a deadline yet.
There is lots of other much more interesting stuff I guess, but not really stuff I want to put here, I guess I just use this journal to catch up on other people these days, I tend to use status updates of facebook as my main form of communication with those not on msn.
