[entry 0.01] profile: ginger donàu
Since I'm playing an original character, I'm going to post a very, very detailed profile in here. ^^; So detailed, in fact, that it's going to take a little while to finish it (read: if I wrote her personality, Gin'd go and change on me. >.> So I'll add that after I've gotten to RP her for a bit). w00t.
Please excuse how obnoxiously detailed this is; it's copied straight from my character profiles (and I like to know everything about my characters, from the reason why they quit training to be a doctor down to the fourth piercing in their left ear).

Name: Leone “Ginger” Donàu [Lee-own]

Hair: Long, almost to the small of her back, and orange-red-hence the nickname, Ginger. Usually worn in a French-braid or a ponytail at the nape of her neck; Ginger doesn’t usually like her hair in her face bothering her, and prefers it pulled back. She has bangs, but they sweep across and fall at about chin-length.
Eyes: Dark green, and set just a bit too close together. Following her Desuyan heritage, her eyelashes are very long and darker than they should normally be.
Skin: Ginger is actually fairly tan-for a redhead. While most Desuyan redheads are pale, her skin is a more bronzed shade, though noticeably lighter than most Desuyans. Because of the melanin in her skin, it is possible for Ginger to tan, so she’s not very susceptible to burns. She has a handful of freckles across her nose, faded brown.
Features: A nose that’s upturned just slightly, as well as a couple dimples around her mouth.
Other Physical Traits: Ginger has narrow shoulders and a willowy sort of build. She has a dancer’s sort of carry.
Identifying Marks: A long, feathery scar across the right side of her collarbone (she received it after her older sister, Andiron, pushed her down the stairs when they were little).
Physical Fitness: Ginger was a dancer for a long time, and she still dances and performs at Lu’uz sometimes. She has enough stamina to perform for long periods at a time, but she’s not any good at say, fighting hand-to-hand. She hates running, as well.
Usual Clothing: Ginger runs comfort over style-she favors drawstring pants cropped just below the knee, paired with a racerback tank. She also has a pair of black bands that lace up around her biceps, as well as a black wrist brace on her left wrist (sometimes). Jewelry includes two silver bracelets on her right wrist, a black rubber band on her left wrist (unless it’s in her hair), and a pair of black zippers on her ears (inherited from her sister).
Family: Mother, Nevona, father, Nalen, and an older sister, Andiron.
Friends: Unimportant for the moment. ^^;;
Enemies: Her sister’s posse? She doesn’t have any real huge enemies, but her sister’s friends aren’t anyone she’d want to run into in a dark alley-oh, wait. She’s already done that.
Personality Traits: Ginger and Andi were (and still are) as different as fire and ice. Where Andi was hot-headed and short-tempered, Ginger learned to keep calm and keep her similarly short temper tamped down. While Andi went through a rebellious phase, Ginger learned indifference towards the rules her sister so stubbornly tried to defy. And even now, when Andi has moved to sarcastic and mocking, trying to provoke everyone around her, Ginger is the sort of girl to roll her eyes and move on.
Ginger is the sort of girl who knows how to work with what she’s given. Since her older sister was a terror, she can get away with anything so long as she doesn’t bring trouble with her. She can be manipulative and exploit all the loopholes she sees, and more often than not get away with it, too (though the times are few and far between; Ginger also believes that exploiting that certain characteristic too often might eventually hinder her, rather than help). She likes vague wording and plays and lies, thinking of them as a sort of game.
All that is very carefully hidden, though. On the next level up, Ginger is almost like any normal kid. She loves to laugh, and will step over the line sometimes to make others laugh. She is the typical “good girl,” but can be swayed to go against the grain and do something out-of-line with just a little persuasion. She just really enjoys a good time.
On the top level of her personality-the one most often shown, such as in school or in new situations-Ginger is simply the quiet girl. She doesn’t speak much, preferring to listen for fear of saying something stupid. She keeps her head down and sticks straight to the rules, despite whether or not she agrees with them. This is the level that most people see, although sometimes Ginger wishes she could change that.
