Well I think its time I update seeing as a lot has happened in the past few weeks. Well France was good. We spent the first 4 days in Paris. Our first day we arrived we were sooo tired we needed to find a hotel asap. So we found this one that was 66euro a night which is about $95 canadian. But we were so tired we didnt even care. So we get there and the bed room is about the size of my room in freddy. In other words not overly big for that kind of money. So the next 3 nights we had another hotel booked with kari and natalie. We didnt meet up with them till the next day. So jane and i was alone in Paris for 24 hours to fend for ourselves.Pretty scarey thought if you think about it.
So Paris was good. It wasnt what i expected it to be. What i liked the most probably was the cobble stone roads. It doesnt take much to impress me lol.Friday night we went to the Louvre to see the mona lisa. It was student night there so it was free! I was pumped I love free things lol. After that we went to see Moulin Rouge. Not what I expected for $90 euro but still good. Saturday we woke up kinda early so we could eat free breakfast at our hotel which happened to be a baguette and jam lol. We then subwayed into downtown paris to champs elysee. We did some major shopping even though I didnt buy anything that day. Sunday we headed to Poitiers where kari and natalie are staying. Its like 4 hours outside of Paris but only like an hour and half by train. So we trianed there and basically shopped for the rest of the week lol! And now for some pics. They are kinda boring cuz most of the time it was just jane and I and its hard to get good pictures when you both want to be in them haha!

Jane and I in the Detroit Airport. This was a super cool hallway that was underground. It was dark and the lights changes colors from greens to blue to purples. It was super neat. I loved the Detroit Airport!
Our first meal in Paris. How appetizing eh! Its like a donair but kinda different. Its their version of fast food, along with McDonals of course! Oh and one thats like McDonalds called Quick and they deliver lol!
Jane and I were walking down the street and we came across the first gas station! It would be like being on Prince William street and just seeing 2 gas pumps on the sidewalk! I lost it when i saw this! I also saw a Shell gas station and an Esso but that was during our cab ride and no where near us!

The courtyard of the Louvre. I must say that the Louvre is HUGE. I think we were there an hour and we basically just walked in found the mona lisa and left. Well i mean we did look at things too but we didnt go into any other rooms.
Still the Louve. Te get into it you have to go into that triangle thingy. So in other words its so huge that some of it is even underground.
Moulin Rouge.Its kinda dark cuz my camera sucks at taking pics in the dark i need to learn how to turn off the flash or something lol. This was inside before you walked into the ballroom. You couldnt take picture in there. Maybe cuz the girls dance around topless!?!
Yup thats right Sexodrome! Moulin Rouge was right in the heart of the sex district of Paris. I even had one guy grab my arm when we were walking there and asked me to have sex with him. This street is filled with strip clubs, regular bars, and sex shops!
Kari, Jane and I in front of Sacre Coeur. Its such a beautiful chruch. We never went to the top but i guess we should have. They have a market set up around it! Oh well it was still nice to look at.
The street we walked to get to Sacre Coeur. Small and filled with people. The odd car will drive up it! They are crazy drivers in France.
This is Lacoste on Champs Elysee. Defintely the coolest store i've ever been in. It was way better than gucci or louis vuitton. It had really cool light thats made every different colors that were really pretty!Very neat
The Eiffel Tower from a pretty far distance. We walked there and i think i took this like 15 mins before we even got close to it.

And with this i was impressed! Looking up the Effel tower from the second floor. It was so beautiful at night.

Kristina, Jane and Kari. Chillen one night in Natalie's room. Kari drank a whole bottle of wine right outta the bottle that night with the rest of us sat there and talked lol.
Jane and I getting ready for a fun filled day of shopping. We did it each day while in Poitiers and I must say i never got sick of it once!
Jane and I with a french military gard named Alex. We showed up at the airport at 12 am when our flight didnt leave till the next day at 2pm. There was nothing open and noone around so i asked the french militay gards carrying machine guns where we could sleep at for the night and they took us to this litle resturants with booths. And then they decided to hit on us. But some of them were cute so we didnt mind too much!
So we thoguht it would be a great idea to stay at the airport over night so we could save money on a hotel and not have to rush to the airport in the morning. Well mostly save money part lol. Well so did these guys. They are 3 boys from Michigan who took the same flight home as us. Their names are Dave, Dan and Brandon. Brandon was actaully studying aboad in France and the other 2 went over to visit him. Kinda like jane and i went to visit natalie lol. So lets just say they helped us pass time quicker.
After a 20 minute walk with all our luggage we found a McDonalds in the airport for breakfast. I must say it was the best breakfast I had in the 12 days i was there and it wasnt even that good lol. So after breakfast we all took a nap right in McDonalds after a long night well everyone except Dave. He was wide awake for some reason lol.
Well thats my trip in a nut shell. Lots more stories and pics of course but i will tell them another time. This has taken me forever to do. My computer is actinf super slow for some reason.
