It's a blissful Saturday, sunshine and all. It's the first of May and spring is really here. Still struggling from the massive ambush thanks to the allergies and cold, but seem to be starting to recover, finally...after 2.5 weeks mind you. Just had a bowl of fresh strawberries with a pear and am trying to settle in for a couple hours of thesis reading before dinner. Best of luck to me! Spent the morning online with an old friend, chatting it up on MSN, it was nice to reconnect. Went and saw Kill Bill this afternoon. Not bad, but certainly not Tarantino's best work. Enjoyable though, kitsch-y with lots of one-liners. Not as much gore as the first movie, though it did drag at some points. Overall a 7.5 on the movie scale. Saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen last night, and I fell asleep. That should tell you how good it was. Do not rent this movie! Gearing up for a week of reading, researching and conferencing. At least I am more into my thesis topic than I was for that blasted internship project. I realize that I am not really saying anything at all in this entry.
