Going my way.
I woke up today and I started reflecting on my life lately and I've come to the conclusion that it is pretty damn awesome. I've got an awesome girlfriend, awesome friends, school is going awesomely well and work is Ok.
Report card for 3rd Quarter of 2005: a GPA of 4.08. My best ever. Don't ask me how. I think I blacked out when I took my exams and came out with A+'s in a few courses. A+'s in Psyche, Theology, and Latin. A- in Greek and !Pre-Calc!, and a B in English. Gonna have to bust balls to keep it this high though.
My weekend: I had Friday off of school. and thursday was a halfday. I hung out with Carolyn and Katie in the afternooon and I spent the evening with Carolyn, Charles, George, and Amanda. Katie couldn't go since she had to work out. =( It was still a lot of fun. Carolyn and Charles and I all met at Bread Co, then Amanda decided that she wanted to drive out to Chesterfield so her and Carolyn could ask guys to their dance supposedly. Whatever, I didn't drive so i went along. After the impromptu roadtrip we stayed at Brandon's house for like 5 minutes in our cars before they went to a movie. Time well spent driving. Since we were down in that direction, we went to Charles' house in St. Charles'. There we played ping pong and Amanda and Carolyn introduced George to the violation game and showed him what its like to be uncomfortable. Then we left Charles' and went back to Amanda's. There Carolyn and I just sat around and shot the shit while Amanda showed her Fag-Hag Nature. Fun evening. I also ate half a foccacia loaf.
Friday: I worked on my greek video project with Mikey, Charles and George. J-Tom was there too. It was a lot of fun listening to Charles and George try to get their lines right. Mikey and I were nearly flawless with some excellent improv. Only took two takes to get our scene right. The first one was only interrupted by my cell phone. Thanks a lot Katie. =P
Friday night we went to the art museum. By we I mean Mikey, J-Tom, Peter, Susi, George, Maddie, Byrne and Hunter. Katie met us later. We then went to Hollyce's and then to Cecil Whittaker's for a big pizza shindig. That was pretty fun. Note to Self: Always bring a fucking jacket.
Saturday: Worked until 3. Got off early. Then went to city museum!!!!!! In attendance were Katie, Carolyn, Mikey, Hovis, Missy, Stu, J-Tom, Sarah, Angela, Carpool, and D.Gregg. I think that's everyone. OH well, Katie got 5 of us in free using her special pass thingy. I hadn't been in a really long time, so it was awesome! We went to the enchanted caves and played hide and seek. I never got tagged, whoo. I fit through pretty much everything, but had some difficulty maneuvering. I only hit my head once too.
Another fun part was the ballpit. A giant pit filled with playground balls, like dodgeballs. It holds like 20 people, who just go inside and throw balls at eachother and attempt to climb ropes. After watching for a while, I decided to go in. I was joined by Sarah, Missy, Carpoolin, D.Gregg, and Spaeth.
Once in, I just started throwing balls at people. My inner jock nature reared its ugly head and I just started firing away with deadly speed and accuracy. No one was safe from my blistering throws. There was one kid in there, like 15, who was just throwing as hard as he could from like 5 feet away. He was throwing at people in our group too. We all decided he was an asshole, so we targeted him. We then proceeded to pummel him with balls about the head and face until he left. Then we stayed in for a while longer and continued throwing. It's amazing how fun that can be, just throwing shit at other people. I left once my arm felt like it was gonna fall off. It still does. Oh well. After hanging out for a little bit more, we all went back to Katie's. There, we disbanded. I said my goodbyes to everyone and to Katie. Then came home, showered, and went to bed. I fell asleep in like 10 seconds I think.
Bottom line: Life is good.
