This is why you should never go shopping when you're hungry
Earlier this evening, after some extreme tediousness involving a dead car battery, trying (and failing) to jump-start the vehicle, then eventually starting it and then embarking on a trip to Pep Boys, I suggested to MIB that a dinner outing might be in order to the so-called "Sawtelle Corridor," where there are a gazillion Japanese restaurants, Boba Tea, Beard Papa's, Pinkberry's, the Giant Robot Store... yes, it is a neighborhood filled with much cuteness and delight.
I'd left veevi a message inviting her to meet us, and I wanted to wait a little bit before picking a restaurant to see if she'd respond. So MIB and I ducked into Linens & Things to see if they had anything new on sale.
And then I bought a couch.
It was 50% off! I'm not all that keen on the color, but apparently Chip really likes it. :) And it unfolds into a bed! But the ensuing furniture wrangling has really exhausted me. There's just no room in this place for more stuff. Something is going to have to go.
