GenCon update 2
Umm...so I woke up this morning, was feeling somewhat better, throat still hurt though. Hope I shake this cough soon. I spent most of the morning in the exhibition hall as intended hitting up the local merchants for free swag. I also bought some cool little presents for my good friends, and failing that, people who just couldn't come ;) heh. In anticipation of tonight's judging shift I slept off most of the afternoon in my incredibly comfortable bed and caught a shower in my awesomely amazing 2 headed shower. Judging went well, more Vintage stuff, and I just got off judging a $500 midnight sealed event. I also ended up judging for part of the Vintage World Championchip and got to shake hands with the winner. Damn that Ancestral Recall trophy looks beautiful up close.
Oh yeah, on my break I was playing Mox in a Box with the dealer in the TCG room.
I won the Mox (Emerald retails about $400) and a box (Saviors). Best $20 I've ever spent. Except possibly for that time I had sex with your mom, but I guess that doesn't really count since she had to make change...Wow...I'm weird tonight, sleep dep does strange things to you.
Anyway, that's all I've got for now, I'm going to catch a nap now and try to figure out how I am carrying all this swag back to UD.
