So last Tuesday, since I find the Wifi connection available in the building of my appartment rather crappy (difficultes to connect with one of my friends for Pokémon online trading), and since my modem don't have a Wifi card, I wanted to search for a Nintendo Wifi USB connector.
(So I found an equivalent of it, since everywhere I went, the official one wasn't available. I begin to regret having bought it, instead of waiting to go to Akihabara and try searching for the official one there, since I can't succeed to connect with it : each time I try to configure it, my DS send me the message "Error 52002 : IP adress not valid".
The dongle I bought is a Gw-us54mini2g. If anyone can help, please tell me.)
But that's not the real point of this post. In fact, while searching for the USB connector, I stumbled on several shops I haven't discovered before, and thus went on a new goodies raid.
Here's the (excellent) results of it :
6 new games, and all excellent finds ! ~o~ From left to right and up to down :
- Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix (PS1 ; I wanted to try one of those Dance Dance games, with Japanese songs in it, instead of the occidental versions of these games where Occidental songs are used instead)
- Puyo Puyo 2 (PS1 ; I will longer miss my precious Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine here in Japan now ! ^^)
- I.Q. Final (PS1 ; I.Q. Final = Kurushi Final in European markets. Kurushi is a game I liked its demo, on the Demo CD1 provided with my PS1 back on 1997, a lot, and I never had the chance to find a copy of this game in France, so I jumped on the opportunity, especially since this game was sold at a very cheap price, 250 yen)
- Tokimeki Memorial Selection : Fujisaki Shiori (PS1 ; and a new Tokimemo game to my list ! :p This one is basically the same concept as Tokimeki Memorial : Private Collection, i.e. a series of mini-games and goods such as vids and CGs, expect it's centered around Shiori, instead of covering the whole Tokimeki Memorial 1 verse. Not too bad, but really not spectacular, I recommend this game only for die hard TM fans, and more specifically Shiori fans).
- Valkyrie Profile (PS1 ; do I really have to make a presentation for this legendary game from tri-Ace, the creators of, among others, Star Ocean : The Second Story ? :p)
- Fire Emblem : Ankoku Ryû to Hikari no Tsurugi (NES ; even more useless to make a presentation of this one, IMO. ^^)
Now, we're entering in figurines' realm. I'm not a figurine fan at all, but I make an exception for the franchises I like the most, i.e. Fire Emblem, Tokimemo, and Star Ocean 2. Of course, in there, Tokimemo will have the lion's share, since compared to FE, the quantity of figurines released was MUCH greater, but in this raid, the FE franchise fared well. See for yourself :
Lucky me ! I was able to find all 7 Fire Emblem 3's Gashapon Figurines of the second set (there were two Gashapon sets released), and a Levin figurine of the Fire Emblem 4 Exceed a Generation set !!
Since I already have the complete set of Exceed a Generation figurines in France, I have plans for this extra Levin figurine, for the sake of the Réseau Pixalgo. ;)
And the other three girls figurines, at both sides of Levin, are Tokimemo figurines. At Levin's left side, it's Sumire Nozaki, one of the 3 secret characters in Tokimeki Memorial 2 ; and at Levin's right side, from left to right, it's Suzune Misaki (one of the Tokimeki Memorial Drama Series Volume 2 : Irodori no Love Song characters), and Yumi Saotome (from Tokimemo 1).
Three other Tokimeki Memorial 1 figurines I had the luck to stumble on, and all still in their packages. Got them at a cheap price, and what's more, one of them is Saki, my fave char in this game !! ~o~
The chars, form left to right : Miharu Tatebayashi, Saki Nijino, and Yuina Himoo.
And here's what probably is the pinnacle of my findings, along with Valkyrie Profile, the Gashapon figurines, and the Levin figurine : a variable action figurine of Saki Nijino !!!!! ~o~ ~o~ ~o~ ~o~ ~o~
I seriously couldn't believed my eyes when I discovered this one. Just wow. :D
Just to give you an idea of its size, compared to the Levin figurine, this Saki figurine is about 2 cm taller. I don't currently have a ruler to check the exact size, but if I remember right, Levin figurine has a size of 14 cm.
I just regret this variable acton figurine doesn't have a second set of legs, because otherwise, there's all the components needed for creating two figurines in there. T_T

So, all in all, that dongle research led me to some nice findings, indeed. :)
