Return of the Living Zombie Nation!

Okay added more to the story. Rewrote the last paragraph of the stuff I put up last time, so going on from there with the story. Don't think too much happened yet in the story, but working on it. About to add in my zombie fodde--I mean students to the school...

“For you, sure.” Kevin replied, as he used his telekinesis to hold the door in place. Both Kat and Ace got in the car, and Ace drove off.
A few minutes later, the toilet seat Kat had deflect high in the sky returned a few hundred feet further, crashing down in the parking lot of Brookland-Cayce. It also seemed to have come down with some weird meteor.

“I can’t believe that girl made me so mad. Damn it! I’m so stuck on my damn stuff that I didn’t notice her advances. Sure, she’s cute. But why would she want a geek like me? Ah, c’mon what the hell is wrong with me?” West argued with himself, mad over George leaving him in the lab after a furious fight.
He got up from his desk and chased after her. She had been gone for a while, but she might still be in the building. He searched, calling out her name, but nothing.
“Damn it, where could she be? Sure its like 6 on a school day, but damn it…” He growled, as he headed out to the parking lot. He knew her car, so he looked for it. Looking around, he noticed smoke near some cars. One of the cars was George’s. He quickly walked over there.
As he neared, he saw a small hole in the ground with smoke coming up from it. There was a pair of legs sticking up out it that looked familiar. “George!” West cried out, as he got closer.
Sure enough, there was George, lying at the bottom of the hole, a toilet bowl lid and a small meteor crushing in her chest. West jumped down in the hole and pulled the meteor and lid off of George’s body. He examined her, and definitely found her to be dead. “Oh George, George…why didn’t talk to you when I had the chance…”
He cried over her body, rocking her back and forth. He took her face in his hands and kissed her, crying even more.
An idea popped in his head. “The serum…I can bring her back. This damage isn’t too bad, she’ll just think maybe she got hit by a car.” He quickly pulled her out of the hole, and carried her to the lab.
“I will bring you back my love. And then you can be loved all the time by me.” West told her, as he placed her on a lab table. He went over to a desk and found a toolset for working on bodies. He walked back over to her, and began to take off her shirt. The lid and meteor had collapsed her chest, but he also needed to know if it had caused any more damage.
“Great, first time I get to see you topless and you have to be dead.” He told her, as he unclipped her bra. He kept his opinion to himself as he examined her chest and injuries. Without a huge knowledge of internal medicine, he had to surmise that the hit from the two objects caused little surface damage, but did cause a lot of internal injury. Bringing her back would be all right, but she might have trouble breathing.
“You wanted to help, so now you will help. You will be the first person I bring back to life with this serum of mine.” West said, as he started to put her bra back on. He did take the time to cop a feel, before clasping the bra back on. He put her shirt on her, and then laid her back down.
He went to his desk, and pulled out a vial of the serum. He walked over to another desk, and pulled out a syringe gun. He put the vial in the gun, and then walked over to George’s body. “God, please protect me…and her.” He plunged the needle in George’s arm, and then pushed the serum into her. He wouldn’t know how long the serum would take to work, so he sat on a chair next to her, and started to pray.

“What was the racket earlier?” A man asked to another man, as they walked across the Brookland-Cayce campus. They had heard something falling down, and then saw puffs of smoke coming from the other end of the campus. So here they were, walking to investigate the smoke. As they neared the parking lot where the smoke was coming from, they saw someone carrying another person back into the school.
“Must be some prankers or something. Let’s check out the smoke, and then we’ll check those two out.” The other man said, as they approached the smoke. They quickly spotted the hole that had been made earlier.
“Looks like some sorta meteor fell.” The first man said, as they got above the hole. They both looked down to see a small foot wide rock. There were tiny little hairs sticking out from it, and they were wiggling. “Look at that…”
“Um…maybe we should call the main office…this looks seriously bad…” The other said, stepping back a bit.
Suddenly the meteor launched itself at the two men, striking the first one and then pulling him into the second one. They were both screaming and hollering as the meteor’s hair held them together with extreme pressure. They could feel and hear their bones and skin being merged together around the meteor. The pain eventually got too much, and they passed into unconsciousness, never to awaken again. Their merged bodies fell to the ground, as the tiny hairs of the meteor began to grow and consume the body.
After a few minutes, the bodies of the two men had been consumed and formed into a new form. It stood up, and opened its four eyes, seeing the world for the first time. The 2 sets of eyes were right on top of each other, but spread wide enough to give it a wide field of vision. It had no noticeable nose, except for 2 small holes in place of where the nose might be. It also had a wide mouth, as if the two former mouths merged into one. It let out a loud and deep sounding howl, and it sniffed the air, looking for something.
The form was about 6 foot tall, and muscular, a combination of the former bodies. It had 2 legs, but it had 4 arms, with one set being attached at the shoulders, while the other set stretched out from its sides above the waist. The form was covered in deformed skin, with blotches of hair and clothing from the previous forms. And in the center of its chest was the meteor.
As it got used to being in the new form, the monster looked around, searching for food. It sniffed several acceptable meals nearby in the school, and it set off after them.

“Damn it, this panel is severely damaged. I’m probably going to have to just get another door.” Ace complained, as he worked on the damaged door of the Monster. The Monster was an old 91’ Cutlass Supreme that he had bought with his parents. It was called the Monster because it simply strolled through with all the various fights Ace and the group has been in with out being destroyed. It didn’t hurt that Ace had severely modified it, adding extra bits of metal for armor in the door, reinforcing the structure, changing out the engine for a more powerful and efficient one, as well as putting in a computer console for playing music and keeping track of potential targets. Technically it was a military grade machine.
“Well it’s probably too late to get a panel from the junkyard. Maybe we should just tack it back on the frame and deal with it later. I mean, I could use the other door you know.” Kevin suggested, as he looked over the car.
“Yeah let’s do that.” Ace replied, as he picked up the door. He walked over to the car and then held the door in place. “Kev, hand me the torch and turn it to 3.”
Kevin grabbed a near by welding torch, handed it to Ace, and then walked over the valve to turn the gas on for Ace. He turned it the designated spot, and then watched as Ace tacked the door back on, welding the door to the frame.
Ace surmised over this work. “It’s not pretty by any means, but it’ll do.” He walked over to a table, wringed his hands in a towel, and then turned to Kevin, “Care to play some Halo 2?”
“Sure. Kat’s probably up there playing Warcraft, you know how she likes to play it every single minute now.” Kevin complained, as he headed up with Kevin.
They were in their hangout, an old abandoned house in the forest between their homes and Brookland-Cayce. The forest wrapped around a rock quarry, and it made it easy to practice fighting and on occasion, fight various villains that were after then. The house they found was 2 stories, with the downstairs consisting of a garage, a bathroom, and a bedroom. Ace and the gang renovated it to just be a garage with a bathroom, turning the bedroom into more of the garage, allowing Ace and Chad to work on their respective vehicles.
Upstairs, it was mostly a house, as well as the ground level to 2 sides outside. There was a kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms. The dining room had been converted into a computer lab for Kevin, as he was the group’s computer expert. Kat tended to cook for the guys, while the living room was the hangout spot for the group. The 2 bedrooms were used for sleeping when needed, and on occasion would be used by Kat and Kevin for various reasons.
No one knew who owned the house, and officially it didn’t exist on any records. The land was tied to the quarry, until Ace’s parents bought it out, just to cover that parcel of land. Ace had also used his parents’ access to military and scientific equipment to outfit the house and their vehicles.
“Kat, what’s for dinner?” Ace asked, as they came into the living room.
Kat was leaning over in her chair over the large monitor she had for her computer. On screen she was playing World of Warcraft, a major massive online game that she loved to play in between school, practice, and time with Kevin. She barely blinked or responded.
“Sure there’s no such thing as WoW Zombie?” Ace asked, plopping down on the couch in the living room. He picked up the remote to the turn their big screen television on, as Kevin turned on the 360 and brought him one of the wireless controllers. “Guess we’ll have to fend for ourselves.”
Kevin winced toward her, using his telepathic powers to get her attention. He then turned to Ace. “She says she’ll start some hamburgers in about 30 minutes, once she completes some instance she’s on.”
“Sounds good,” Ace replied, as he got the game started.
A few hours later, with a large amount of burgers consumed, Kat sat back watching the guys playing their game. She had quit playing Warcraft for the night, and was trying to do some reading for school.
“So what do you think our test tomorrow’s gonna cover? I don’t want to have to read several chapters if I don’t have to.” She asked, stretching out a bit.
“Well if I remember what I read from her mind, Dr. Hutchison is just testing us on the history of the Micans and then she’ll try to throw us off by throwing in the Spanish as they come to the Americans.” Kevin replied, having read the teacher’s mind before the end of class earlier in the day.
“Damn you suck Kev. And not for the camp shot, you cheap bastard.” Ace commented, as his character was killed by Kevin’s character.
“Yeah, well I only help her because she likes to let me-“ Kat kicked Kevin in the back before he could finish, resulting with a smile on his face. He liked to talk about Kat and his relationship to unnerve Ace, especially while they were playing video games.
“I hate to break up the fun, but I think we need to head home. Tests in the morning and then I’ve got a class to teach after school.” Kat said, getting up from the couch.
“Eh, no fun.” Ace moaned, as he finished taking a shot at Kevin’s character. After a few more minutes, the match ended, and Kevin went to turn the game off.
“Yeah well you should study, since you’ve almost failed the last few tests.” Kevin commented, as he took the controller from Ace.
“I know, I know. Don’t have the luxury of reading people like you do.” Ace griped, getting up. He stretched out and then took out his keys. “C’mon, let’s go.”
“That’s okay Ace, I think me and Kat will walk. I mean I know we usually drive, but it’d just be nice to walk.” Kevin said, as he stepped next to Kat.
Ace looked at the two, and then sighed. “Sure. Go on, and I’ll lock up. Need me to pick you up in the morning?”
“Yeah, that’s be all right.” Kevin replied.
“Sure Ace.” Kat added, as she and Kevin started walking toward the door.
Ace hung back. He had known that two of them had started to get closer, but now he was starting to realize that they were definitely moving on beyond friendship into something else. He almost got jealous, but realized that he had been on many dates with a few ladies, so this was no difference. He sighed, and then started to turn off the lights and arm the alarm system.
He head down to the garage, and looked his car over. “Guess I’ll just have to hit the junk yard after school. Doesn’t look too bad, but damn do they always have to fuck with my car?” Ace griped, getting in the Monster. He pushed the garage opener button, and then threw the car in reverse, getting out of the garage. Once out, he lowered the garage, hit the “Arm Alarm” button, and then started to drive home.
He drove past Brookland-Cayce, and saw that a few lights were still on in the school. He pushed out with his limited sensory ability to detect powers, but could only feel the presence of normal people. “Must just be some late cleaning.”
He drove on, not realizing that inside, several people were running for their lives from an unknown threat, a threat he would soon be face-to-face with.
