A talented woman just did the world a big favor
Dolly Parton contributed one million dollars to Vanderbilt University, who worked with Moderna to create one of the new (and very promising) vaccines against COVID19. (Apparently she made herself rich and famous so she'd be able to do things like donate money to vaccine research, or to donate children's books to schools and libraries. That's what money is for!)
