My friend Derek asks for music and it's like a knee-jerk reaction for me to supply her, so here's that freaking letter meme. Sendspace is being really slow for downloads lately, so I used mediafire instead. Hope that's okay for everyone.

Cougar theme song, I swear. It's totally worth it just for the opening line, but the rest is pretty cool, too. Twisting the head just enough to almost hurt, to almost, hurt. Just testing, to see what he's made of.

God, Shirley Manson. Fuckhot.
Pink Floyd - One of My Turns
If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life it would be The Wall. Pink is such a great character, and I love his sudden switch in this song from lethargic to violent. Would you like to learn to fly? Would you like to see me try?
Santana - Oye Como Va
Ah, Santana, the guitar god. This man plays guitar like most people have sex, he just gets so into it; I've heard reports of his shows, and apparently he doesn't look like he gives a shit about the audience, he's so focused on playing. Besides, I am from San Diego, had to get at least one Spanish song in here.
Great Big Sea - Own True Way
This particular band is almost always bouncy and happy, and this song is almost annoyingly catchy. Still, GBS is great if you want to cheer up, and I love the voice on the singer. Have another: The Old Black Rum
The Pogues - The Old Main Drag
So, I have this huge hard on for celtic rock, in case you didn't know, and the Pogues are one of my favorites. This song is told from the perspective of a hustler and is from their album Rum, Sodomy and the Lash.
Three Days Grace - On My Own
I'm weird with this band. I either listen to them on repeat or not at all. I don't know how, but they really caught exactly what I'm looking for in loud rock on certain occasions.
Bob Marley & the Wailers - One Love_People Get Ready
I am a California girl, after all.
World Without Sundays - Out of Range
I'm just trying out this band, not quite sure what I think of them yet. This is probably my favorite song by them so far. What do you think?
