eta: Another customer remarked on my accent the other day. Said I sounded Irish. This is the fourth time a customer's mentioned it ("Oh, and where are you from?" "San Diego." "...that's...not what I would have guessed.") and I am flummoxed as to how I could sing "if you're happy that you came here take a bite" in an Irish accent without knowing it.
