Ahahaha! I finally got a birthday card from my pseudo-stepmother, and the only thing it said was, “Have a great time girl, you’ve earned it.”

It was filled with one dollar bills.

HA! I do not have the heart to tell her that I very much doubt that there are any stripclubs in Davis. Good God. I laughed for like ten minutes when I saw that. Thank you, L., I thoroughly enjoyed your gift.

Also, my grandmother sent me a box with kneock bread, apples, and chicken ramen. WHAT THE FUCK?! I want to know what drugs you are on, woman, and I want you to give me some, plzkthx.

1. Elaborate on your default icon.
Made by
graphicalrum, this icon shows both my love for The Birdcage and a vital truth about myself.

2. What's your current relationship status?
Nothing, probably because I’m a horrible girlfriend. I don’t want to talk to you everyday, I don’t care about your every activity, and I will not read deeper meaning into every little thing you do. I know, I’m a bad person.

3. Ever have a near-death experience?
Not that I remember.

4. Name an obvious quality you have.
I’m generally very relaxed. I also have an expansive sense of humor, and can find some sort of amusement in almost any situation.

5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
Heh, um, Stephen Lynch’s Mixer at Delta Chi. I like this guy too much.

6. Any celeb you would marry?
Margaret Cho, but I don’t want to have to move to Canada just to get married. Alan Rickman, if he’d have me. Maybe Michael Rosenbaum just because he’s so fucking sexy.  Numerous authors.

7. Who will cut and paste this first?
God. Definitely.

8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Mmm, no. I don’t exactly fit into that celebrity mould.

9. Do you wear a watch? What kind?
Yeah-ah. It’s actually my godfather’s watch that he left at my house and I have since commandeered. It’s rather large and masculine and a, er, Relic Wet. Yeah. My friends call it my manwatch.

10. Do you have anything pierced?
Nada, nope, zilch. Not even my ears.

11. Do you have any tattoos?
No ink on me. I’m too indecisive to actually settle on a design, otherwise I’d love several one.

12. Do you like pain?
In certain situations/areas.

13. Do you like to shop?
No. Hate hate hate. Hate. There is no other way to say this. (Hate.)

14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
Um…probably dinner at Chipotle’s the other night.

15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
No credit cards for cdub. It would be a dangerous thing.

16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
Jules! She’s coming over this weekend!

17. What is on your desktop background?
A psychedelic mushroom. People think that I have a weird attraction to mushrooms, which I guess is true when you consider the fact that I’ve never done acid. I tend to change my wallpaper quite frequently, though.

18. What is the background on your cell phone?
A picture of Maes Hughes with his hand on Roy Mustang’s shoulder (both from Fullmetal Alchemist) and looking very...intimate.

19. Do you like redheads?
Mmmhmm. With freckles, lots of freckles. Dark auburn hair is best, yeahyeah.

20. Do you know any twins?
Not well. Unless you count Sam, who I know on the intrawebs and is full of awesome.

21. Do you have any weird relatives?
I suppose getting drunk and barking at people on the T could be construed as weird, so yes.

22. What was the last movie you watched?
Hee! Latter Days! Such a good movie, btw.

23. What was the last book you read?
Middlesex by Jeffery Euginides. Which is very good, though he uses some very strange diction chioces for his allusions/symbolism. Currently reading approx. 5000 books but not close to finishing any, more’s the pity.

24. Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"?
The latter, though it could turn into love once you get to know them, I suppose.

25. What's your favourite novel?
Oh God, I don’t know. Uh…I guess…The Things They Carried, because I want to fucking marry Tim O’Brien every time I read it. It’s just so goddamn beautiful, and it’s a fucking war novel, but it’s so…breathtaking and gory and true and absolutely made-up, and I just… Yeah. The Things They Carried.

26. When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived?
Like, every day until last month. It’s the next street over from where my mom lives now.

27. Do you read your horoscope?
If I happen to see it, I don’t seek it out or anything, and I definitely don’t pay any attention to it.

28. Who's your favourite of the seven dwarves?
Is this even a question? Grumpy, all the way.

29. When was the last time you googled your own name?
Um, July? When I found out how much of a stalker this one girl was. Thankfully, both my first and last names are really common, so no worries.

30. What was your favourite subject at school?
The various sciences, I guess, but only because I don’t like writing that much. If there was ever a ‘Read and Discuss’ class, I would own it.

31. What was your least favourite subject at school?
Phys Ed when I still had to take it, math later on.

32. Do you like having your photograph taken?
Eh. Indifferent.

33. What time were you born?
Around 9pm, I think? I do know that it was a C-section because I was 20 days late and was trying to strangle myself with my ambilical cord.

34. Ever seriously questioned your sanity?
Hasn’t eveyone?

35. How many phone numbers do you have remembered and can say off the top of your head?
5? My cellphone has deminished the need to remember phone numbers.

36. Can you Limbo?
Not well, I’m a bit top-heavy and tend to tip over when I try.

37. Have you ever killed your own dinner?
Yep. Used to go fishing all the time with my dad.

38. How long have you been living at your current residence?
A few weeks? I just moved into my dorm.

39. What phobias do you have?
I have this thing with my skin, like, I don’t really know how to explain. My worst dreams have all been about me having weird/painful skin anomilies. Er, *cough* I never claimed to be normal.

40. What's your ideal breakfast?
Food. I don’t usually have time for breakfast, so actual solid food is a treat in the morning.

41. Where are you right now?
My dorm room, supposedly doing my assigned reading.

42. What would you call your autobiography?
Books, Those Rare Profound Moments, and That Thing That Lives in the Wind

meme, me
