Career opportunities

My *sigh* work called me about participating in a meeting re: retirement plans for long-term employees. I declined, the second time I've passed it up, because I don't want to be a long-term employee there. Seriously, if survey work becomes a legitimate career option for me, I have failed somehow/somewhere.

Meantime, I've worked almost a full-time day here at Kindred, starting at 6:30am when I headed in to prepare for my installation of a "solar-powered clothes dryer" (read: clothing rack) in a kindly old lady's yard. The trip included a stop at a gas station to write on their wall (seriously!), and managed to encompass pretty much the rest of the morning show from abt. 7-9a. From there I got to participate in a hastily arranged choir for an ad for Setzer's World of Camping (I don't think you'll be able to pick my voice out), learn some new duties from the departing Senor Millman, do my usual Saturday paperwork, and at present I'm wrapping up a board-opping shift for the aforementioned Brandon.

Future morning show appearances: unknown, save for 13 July when I will be dressing as a cow. More to come later.

Meantime, later on today I'll spend 6 hours calling people asking them about trains and health care. Wonder which of these jobs I'm going to enjoy more. Hmm... writing on walls, calling people about trains... writing on walls, calling people about trains...

Speaking of career tangents, I've begun work on the American Matadors MySpace page, which I'd been threatening for a while. Again, when it's done you'll all get a link and/or adds.
