Holy crap, I almost forgot this thing existed
Wow, i went an entire quarter without updating. I feel bad about this, not that my life is particularly worth hearing about. I guess I'll try to give the best summary that I can...
Schoolwork:
*I have no idea how the majority of my classes went, seeing as two of them havent given me my grade yet. This isn't surprising. My ConLaw prof told us that grades were gonna be at least two weeks late. Personally, i'm not looking forward to seeing that grade. I got a C+ on the midterm, which was the average. I think I did well on the research paper, but i'm a little worried about the exam. This grade could be anything from an A- to a C, all depending on the malice of the TA who grades my final. Racism class was good, despite the fact that it was the most disorganized class i've ever taken. We went off the syllabus from the beginning and never really got back on. However, if I dont get an A in that class, i'm considering a hate crime. I worked my butt off. Civ gave me my grade, an A-, which is pretty much what i expected/deserved.
Good Stuff:
*Jackie. We've been together 15 months at last count, and i really can't imagine not being together. We went to Pittsburgh over break, and got to fly with TaoTao. Anything done with TaoTao is an experience, but confinement just makes it more interesting. Pittsburgh was fun, but cold. Some (but nowhere near all) of the highlights were the viewing of Aladdin, Return of Jafar, and King of Thieves all in a row, mostly to see which of the last two sucked more (Answer: Return of Jafar, which didn't even have Robin Williams in it.), being attacked and licked furiously by Treasure and Zippy, Jackie's hyper Italian Greyhounds, going to one of those Hibachi places where they make the food in front of you, and a trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Both sets of parents, as well as all the assorted family members i met, seem to like me, which is good for me.
* We've started playing THE SIMS, after Jackie bought the game on Amazon. My sim is a politician with a really out-of-control drug problem. You can buy a chemistry set and make "potions" which have one of a few effects when you drink them. Either they pump up your stats, make someone fall in love with you (so far its happened to me twice and been two old ladies. Just my luck...), create an evil twin, or turn you into a monster. The monster is the most fun to watch. He just commits random acts of hate, like punching a hole through your computer. Jackie's sim is a fashion designer who has an obscene amount of money, and is overall less psychotic than mine. The game is more fun when you talk about the characters like they're real. Since everyone kisses everyone else, and sleeps around like its their job, it turns into a really great soap opera.
Bad Stuff:
*I quit my job refereeing. After making what amounted to an offsides call against a team that was WINNING by 4 goals, one of their players flipped out and started headbutting me. I pushed him away, and he went crying to my boss. Pussy. I didn't feel like dealing with the situation, so i quit. It opened up a ton of time for me to do work, all of which i needed.
*I got thrown out of my house. Apparently I intimidated this 6'3" 250lb football player when he came to see my room. I didn't know I was capable of intimidating anyone, much less somebody approximately double my size. So to make a long, aggravating story kinda short, he cried to Housing and the threw me out. I now live in Maclean, which is ok seeing as its a single. My room, however, is the size of my closet at home. Add the fact that i'm messy, and things can get mighty cramped.
*I'm thinking about quitting AEPi. Somehow, over the course of the year that i've been in, school has gotten more important to me than drinking. Since it really doesn't seem like they do much else, and almost all the people that i liked when i joined have or will be graduating, i dont see much of a point in staying.
Upcoming quarter:

MWF 1130-1220: Global Warming (PhySci requirement)
MW 130-250: Drugs and Politics in America (Sweet lookin History course)
MW 300-420: Intro to American Government (Possible major course)
Never have to wake up before 11, no classes on Tuesday or Thursday, and only one on Friday. Life is good. However, i'm hoping to ruin it by getting my gym job back, possibly the 7am opening shift. It'll give me something to do, and the work isn't hard. That's it for me for now. Later y'all.
