With some apologies to Damien Hirst, I had another idea for a set of mood icons. An obvious gag, but each specific reference is so obscure that anyone who sees the list might only recognize one or two. A lot of work for those odds, but I suppose that's the fun of it

The thing is, I can't FTP into Livejournal's servers. The files have been sent to the person who is in charge of mood themes, but I think there's a bit of a backlog, and I'm sure the person who ends up getting the job won't be too happy to see that some idiot actually made 131 seperate icons, when the nested listing makes it totally unecessary. It's just makes that much more work for them.

If you're that impatient, though, I think there's a way that you can use the icons in the meantime, before they become public. Since all of them are already up on my website (I couldn't afford the traffic if tons of people did this, but you certainly may) you can assign your moods to draw the gifs directly from my server. The instructions are here. The images are at:

Each one has the right name, and the mood numbers are available here. Each icon requires a seperate command to be sent to Lj, though, so setting it up won't be much fun. I'm currently inbetween paid accounts, so even if I wanted to do it myself, it's not a feature I can take advantage of.
