Sorry, but I have to tell about my first week in my new job. You don't actually have to read or comment, and I don't expect you too, but I still have to tell...HAHA!
Thanks darlin' :) It's nice to finally being back to enjoying my days and having a job where I feel I can grow and learn more :) Told you 2012 would be a good year for the both of us :)
so you did! ... we were on out way home from the medical ward when you called - Amaya has her first urine infection of the year. *sigh* But hey - the doctor was Badboni from "sykehuset" (Tv3), and he isn't only cute - but so good with kids as well!
Hehe....did she know who he was? And that's good, a lot of parents and doctors has a tendency to forget that their kids aren't dumb and are fully capable of understanding what's going on. But mostly I hear stories like that when people have been in the ER, since a lot of those doctors doesn't work with kids on a daily basis....but still. But glad it worked out for you guys, and hope that she'll get better soon.
I've actually never had it....knock on wood. But I have felt the starting of it, but then I buy a liter of orange juice and drink in one go....hehe, and gone it is. But that might be a bit easier when you actually are old enough to voice exactly what's wrong before it's gone to far, hehe :)
Nope - she didn't know who he was. I didn't right away either - he just looked really familiar for some reason. But the it hit me. I wasn't completely sure (because he had tamed his hair - lol) but I googled his name (from the prescription) to see if it was him, and sure it was :-)
I sometimes do that too....the orange juice I mean. :-)
But being one that has been prone to get them quite often, I do know the signs. I also know how bad they can get... so I do take her to the med.ward as soon as there is sign of it. Better let her get the meds right away... and when taken early, the meds help right away. It was no fun holding her hand when she had to pee today, because she found it so painful that she cried hysterically. Rather not have her go through that if she doesn't have to.
I am so glad that I've never had that problem. I know a lot of girls who has it several times a year, and really...no, not for me...hehe! Poor thing :( good thing you got her meds that works fast then... :)
