Too good to be true for me to actually remember a lot of important things and start figuring it all out, apparently. …Britannia is an empire that forces itself upon other countries and conquers them to strengthen itself. Their actions are oppressive and brutal, and they treat the people they conquer like less than human. I haven't remembered much of the history yet, but I assume the empire began in Britain.

Yes, but I ... know for various reasons that sometimes a personal account of history is more accurate.

Yeah, you're right. I haven't spent a lot of time in the library, but a lot of the things I've read there haven't matched up with what I've remembered.
