Derrick Wood Writes Bad Sentences

May 05, 2005 14:30

“It’s January and bitterly cold here at Calumet Camp on the Yukon. I’m to set off today to meat my comrades at the hunting lodge to hunt moose.”

I don’t know who Derrick Wood is, but he should not have received 10 of 10 points for a paper that starts out this way. What is wrong with grammar these days? Plurals and Possessives are not interchangeable! I’m a big stickler for grammatical mistakes, and I just can’t stand ‘em-especially in public. See the rant below for a deeper explanation of how I really feel.
