It's dimensionally transcendental, baby

So I finally got a chance to watch last Friday's episode of Battlestar Galactica and was so giddy to see that the new Dr. Who is coming to Sci Fi! Starts Friday, March 17th.

I have been somewhat careful to not know anything (really, not a thing! except the stupid Sci Fi ad seemed a bit spoilery) about this new series, so I am enjoying looking forward to this.

Brief discussion of "Downloaded," last Friday's BSG episode:

A tip of my cap to Boliver, who was correct in assuming that there were eager adoptive parents in the fleet. I still think Roslin made the incorrect, and far too hasty decision, but at least now I can imagine her govt working to place the unwanted babies she's forcing people to bear.

I really enjoyed "Downloaded" with the rico y suave imaginary Baltar, and poor stupid cute Anders, and velvet-blazer lovin' Doral, but I did have to seriously suspend disbelief in all the Caprica scenes in order to believe that the entire planet is just lousy with only four of the twelve models.

So if Sharon is the sweetie girl-friend model, and Doral is the bitchy gay friend model, and Six is the femme fatale model, what does that make D'Anna? The slightly feral middle-manager? I love how Lucy Lawless throws herself into the role like she's fixin' to chomp the delicious head of whomever she's talking to.

Random thought: Can a humanoid Cylon starve to death?
