Well I just found out something rather interesting this morning that my mom told me about. We were talking about hurricanes and tornadoes and all that fun stuff and how scary it would be to live in tornado alley. We touched on Hurricane Juan (the one that hit Nova Scotia a few years back) and Mom told me that a few tornadoes had spawned off of that when it made landfall here and according to the radar one spawned off in our back-friggin'-yard. Dad saw it on the logs/photos at the office (he works for the weather office - Environment Canada in case I haven't mentioned it) when he went in later on that week. Apparently the boys that were at the office that night saw them shoot off and knew where we lived and knew we got one. Well holy hell, that would explain why we lost nearly 80 trees in the backyard and none in the front and why none of neighbours didn't lose any either.

Freaky.

All I can say is, good thing it didn't hit the house, haha.
