Christ on stick, that's an interesting week in politics, and of course it's not over yet, there is the smallish matter of the two by-elections this week, and while I'm sure both liberal candidates will get up. Running full tilt to the right on social and environmental grounds 4 days before by-elections is an interesting tactic. Of course their is a potential downside, if the greens poll more than 40% primary in either of these, you won't stop hearing about it for a year. ( though I think 30% plus on primary will be a very good result considering the number of candidates ).
