RYO+OHKURA. YAY!
Its been a long time! 1.5 months to my thesis deadline, I decide to translated stuff :P
Its because this is precious! I wanna ruffle their hair <3

Ryo: During auditions, Ohkura got to stand all the way in the front, huh. The teacher was like, “You, come up to the front.” And you ended up dancing right in the middle of the front row.
Ohkura: You remember it well (laughs). One year after that Ryo-chan started showing up on Tokyo television and we didn’t see each other for awhile until ANOTHER came about in.. 2002?
Ryo: You were the last to join Kanjani.. at that time there was abit of a distance between us.
Ohkura: But after Kanjani debuted, during our tours, you shared with me the songs you liked and all.. we became closer cause of that, didn’t we? I was telling you, “I wanna listen to English songs, know any good ones?” and you lent me some CDs that were popular and showed me some singers! Ryo-chan has a good sense for music, he knows clearly what he likes and dislikes. So he was particular about such stuff.
Ryo: What I really remember was the time I was staying alone in Tokyo and Ohkura came over to stay. We were watching TV and were getting all excited.. And then when you watched “1 litre of tears” you were crying extremely hard! “Fella needs a towel!”, I thought (laughs).
Ohkura: LOL
Ryo: At that time I was working with the mentality that I had to be better than everyone else, I was working my ass off, really. Speaking of which, at the time when I wrote my own songs, the first person I showed them to were Ohkura..
Ohkura: At the time I didn’t know much about rhythm and beats (drums-wise), so although you asked me about them.. I totally had no idea what I was saying (laughs).
Ryo: Wellll you’re big heartedness has always been something we laughed about over the years! Ohkura has always been known as the “healing type” right?
Ohkura: When it comes to personality, Ryo-chan and I are complete opposites. He speaks his mind about everything while I keep things to myself. Even if I’m thinking ‘something’s wrong..’, I just don’t say it.
Ryo: That’s your way of being considerate right?
Ohkura: Ummm yeahh. Ah we went to Okinawa together, the 2 of us.. that was a little after that? That was fun! It was fun, and deep, too! We didn’t just go there to get in touch with nature, we also learnt a lot about the war..
Ryo: When we there, we totally didn’t go to the bank to draw any money at alllll cause there was nothing in my bank! And we’d go on about having no money.. At the time, I’d change my thousand yen bills into ten thousand yen bills, place it in the hidden area of my wallet and told myself I’ll use it carefully (laughs)!
Ohkura: lolll, we did all sortsa things back then..
Ryo: If you rent an open to car to drive about in, you’ll get a seatbelt tan. I’ve learned that now! When you’re driving in Okinawa, put up the roof (bitter laughs). We went to a particular island for the first time… I’ve been back a few times after that, but actually yasu’s gone more than me (laughs).
Ohkura: Right after that we did a unit song “torn”.. and for my solo concert Ryo-chan appeared in one of those short films played during the breaks..
Ryo: That was my first time appearing in any movie of sorts.. so it was precious! But when we were filming Ohkura was asking me to make all kinds of erotic poses. That was too embarrassing (shy)!
Ohkura: Cause Ryo-chan is shy by nature.. But when he gets drunk, he loses the shy nature. He gets all generous and passionate! Well, its because the games I suggest are fun (laughs)!
Ryo: Ehh, mine are better (laughs)!!
