I'm Back!
So, I'm back. We got back from College Station late last night. Tamara's mom came through her bypass successfully, and is doing rather well. By the time we left she was sitting up and talking, and she was finally eating some crackers.
I know she's got a long road ahead to recovery, but she's gotten a very good start. The surgeon said there was no damage to the heart, so that was excellent news.
Anyway, thanks to those of you who sent good thoughts and prayers. We appreciated them. I'm off to catch up on everything I missed while I was away!
