Vacation's going well, and I've actually been keeping up with the 2 week project that I started. I managed to throw "The Best Party In Georgia" Saturday night and it was completely awesome. I got some distasteful and upsetting news as the party started, but I still managed to have a great time. Brian's already looking for a reason to throw another one.
I'm starting back with trivia tonight. I can't wait. Finances and illness put me on the bench for a while, but things are definitely starting to settle down.
In other news, I have a photography buddy! He's someone who always wants to go out shooting and is patient while I'm figuring stuff out for the first time. He even lets me try out some of his really expensive equipment.
Thanksgiving went better than expected. We had a family reunion of sorts, and the first big family gathering since my GranGran and Daddy died. It was weird because it included alot of extended family, but it was enjoyable and I'm definitely glad I went. Later that evening it was just Me, Mom, and Steph doing dinner at Ray's Killer Creek (which has become a tradition of sorts for us).
I've got most of December off which is insanely nice. I'm doing my best to not spend it all in bed or playing video games. I'm doing all the nerdy photography things I've been putting off and I'm trying to go do stuff that I've wanted to do in the last few months like putting my season pass to use and going to the aquarium and seeing the DaVinci exhibit at the High Museum.
That's it for now. If you feel like checking out pictures for my 2 week project, you can check out my flickr stream at
