Experimenting with names.
My online handles are pretty cute or feminine. More recently, I started using a forum with a distinctly unisex name, and my Steam account to plain Chinese characters (the origin of the username, which appears feminine).
It's been interesting. Maybe I'm biased, but it was nice having conversations with people in PD2. Normally people don't talk to me, or there's a good deal of arguing. Had some games where we just got along, and that was fine for me.
Maybe it's a one-off thing though. Willing to see how this plays out.
