So classmates keep asking to borrow two of my students' pencils (ones I'd given them for Christmas), but never get them back. I know there are other issues, like being too nice and not having a backbone, but I saw a moment here.
I gave them some new pencils. Then told them to stick the unsharpened end into their mouth and bite down, just hard enough to leave little teeth marks all over it.
The younger sister was disgusted, but she eventually saw what her older sister immediately saw: that this is a GENIUS plan and NOBODY will touch their pencils again.
