also, i saw "the dark knight" on tuesday and it was awesome! there were some things that annoyed me, the same things that annoyed me from "batman begins", but overall it was better than the first one. heath ledger was amazing as the joker. he totally outshone christian bale as batman. this joker was a lot darker and scarier and less predictable than jack nicholson's joker (who i also still love). yay for batman.
i should write a long post about traveling with kristen for two weeks, but i don't have the energy for it at the moment. later.
school started on monday. i'm taking an english class on "gender and postmodernisms" (mostly female south african writers), an ethics class, and a zulu language class. i was going to take a class called "plants and society" but apparently they've cancelled that one. so no science classes for me. it will be nice to read fiction for class instead of just textbooks. the ethics class is a lot like an intro to ethics class i took my first quarter at ucsb, but at this point i don't really care if i get credit for it.
