snakes!!!
so i just saw "snakes on a plane", finally. it was pretty darn awesome. more T&A than i expected though, and more gore. that poor dog! and the kitty! the snakes looked really fake, but it went along with the rest of the movie. those snakes were perverts, lol. samuel l. jackson is badass. the people in the movie theater(most of them already drunk, no doubt) were really rowdy, which is fine, except when they shout stupid stuff at dumb moments and shout "slut" at like every girl on screen. that bugs me...after all, the guys were just as slutty as the girls. whatever. plus they were blatantly smoking pot in the theater, and i'm pretty sure i heard a beer bottle being opened. ah college. i just feel sorry for the people behind the smokers.
i went to the EAP office and talked to them about possibly going to south africa. so now i'm much more confident that i'll actually be able to go! it would just mean that i'd be in college for at least a quarter over four years. which i'm fine with. i would definitely give up walking with my class if it meant i could spend a year in africa. so now it's basically just a question of me keeping my GPA up, and not flaking on the application process. the application is not due until may, so that gives me a lot of time to fret about it. i wanna go now!!
