Before I came to school here I thought of people with 3 teeth, people who couldnt talk, and not very smart people. People who sit on their back porch and shoot squirrels with BB guns.
Well..this might change your opinion..or make it worse
Well in my lecture hall class today, Environmental Geoscience (sounds thrilling doesnt it?) the professor came in today wearing a hunting uniform, topped with a bright orange beanie hat, and the class took off from there. He was very engaging and interesting and very smart but i mean..wow. I WAS SO PROUD OF MYSELF THO! I SPOKE IN CLASS!!! College has definately made me break from this some sort of shell i was in for the past 4 years.
Last night (or this morning, rather) Ash and I were awoken to 2 stoned guys who decided to walk into our room at 1:30am and ask us if we had any food. We were told to lock our door by our RA but we didnt believe her! Oh well, i guess this college life will only just get better. We arent really sure who it was, becuz it was dark and we were like half asleep.kinda weird but i guess its cool..
The workload hasnt gotten too tough, yet. im just waiting, but all my professors have said that they dont give too much homework. However, im tired all the time and i still feel like i dont have many friends, even tho i really do. I just cant wait til this awkward phase passes. you know, the awkward phase, when you have to everyone you know nicely before you can be sarcastic to them...you know what im talking about.
The food makes me want to shit bricks. I dont have mealplan on weekends. And there is no way i am gaining the freshman 15 with all this walking i have to do! walking around a 50 acre campus all day is more intense than walking up the stairs at Bow High School, you definately get more winded.
I saw my Ski Industries professor at Pilates tonight, it was definately something.
I hope things are going great back home in B-town and I hope all you kiddies have an awesome time at Homecoming. There is a "Blacklight Dance" here Friday night from 10pm-1am...yeah Pregaming is a forsure thing. Jon also mightbe coming up this weekend if there is anyway we can finagle this out..
