Mint Tea

On another note, I have found that mint tea, if brewed for about 45 minutes in a pot on the stove using several cups of water and three or four herbal mint tea packets, is quite good. I just toss the tea packets into the water, put the lid on the tea kettle, and turn the burner on nearly its lowest setting. Then I wait for the tea to brew. It reminds me of my French class in high school, when I learned about an Arab or North African tradition of serving very strong mint tea to guests. I heard that the tea they served was so thick and strong that it was like a syrup and served in tiny cups. I would like to try it sometime. Maybe if I boil this tea of mine down, it will become that strong. As it is, I can get it to a green so dark and opaque that it is nearly black.
