Gathering and other random blather
The write up is late because I am crap, sorry :P
To start with I had planned to take Helen up to the gathering as I practically drive past her place to get there. However plans changed at last minute.
I went to collect Bev nice and early, pity the Reading festival traffic turned a 15 minute trip into 2.5 hours making me get on site late.
I managed to have a few laughs with my friends but I couldn't find helen.
All in all the event was pretty blah, I got new sword and spent far too long making the scabbard then made some other leathery stuff to keep people going till they could find proper kit.
OOC, The event was ok though I didn't spend enough time with the people I wanted to.
IC, I just muddled around all weekend, really couldn't get into playing Arvid, I am sooo not a healer type and I had to stop myself picking pockets when it was so simple.
(My friends had great fun watching me struggle to play a nice guy)
I managed to really feck up my hip somehow sunday night and decided it was best not to take the field for the final battle (Its the first one in 10 years that I've missed)
Finally was able to bump into helen on her way to the fight monday but it was just a flying hello as she was heading to war.
I made up the stats for Claw and bought his OSP's (soooo expensive but soooo pretty)
I packed up and went over to the Lions to try and talk to helen but she was too busy really so I wasn't able say much.
Said the normal 5 hours worth of goodbyes and gave Simon a lift home before dropping off Bev for what is probably the last time (Actually sad about that)
I tried packing more stuff for bradford (failed)
I tried contacting helen since I got back home (failed)
I tried thinking happy thoughts about life in general (failed)
All in all, not the greatest possible weekend.
