I have met so many amazing people, read and viewed so many brilliant fanworks in literally dozens of fandoms that I have no way to even narrow down the field. I actually specifically thought about you when I was angsting about what to pick for this one. I thought to myself, "Accioslash would have a horror of a time with this, she knows so many people!"

=D Hopefully day six's challenge will be easier!

It feels like a cop-out not to pick one person in particular, but there are just too many wonderful people for me to pick just one. Or even a handful, really.

yeah, it's difficult. I was only able to pick the fan artist I chose because I regularly look at their stuff, and I usually don't go seeking fan art. I have favorites in HP fandom, but they're people everyone already know about, so..

Oh, noes! You guys are making me want to post tl;dr thoughts! ;D I will limit myself to sharing the belief that a whole lot of folks feel unappreciated because everyone assumes everyone knows them, so no one ever mentions them.

Yes, that's probably true! I have a bunch of stuff to read through this month, but maybe after that I will create a huge list of favorites and rec them.

I love rec lists. I always check them out when I see them on my flist even if I don't know the fandom. Because I never know when I'll be in the mood to try something new.

I do think that's true, yeah. I know I've had that experience in other fandoms. l really didn't know how much impact I'd had in my corner of prince of tennis fandom until a friend got into the same pairings recently and reported that she kept being told to read my work. So much of that stuff takes place in private that one really has no idea. And I'm also being tempted toward the tl;dr now, damn. Time to sit on my hands!
