Omg I didn't realize you got your own challenge for 2 :D But the icon you made is stunning, looove the pale palette, the soft grunge and the text use <3
Wow I love what you did with the super difficult random screencap. The golden lighting is absolutely stunning, and I love how the textures frame her.
7 is amazing. You're right that the intense expression makes for a great iconable screencap, and I love how you focused on her eyes. And the tiny text against intense closecrop is such an unusual combo, I love it, great use of the inspiration poster!
I love the coloring and texture use in 9, the muted-pastelly tones are just perfect for a scifi-like feel. And 10 is absolutely amazing as well, and combining fonts is definitely not cheating, that's how I'd use almost any "fancy" font, it just makes sense to use the weird font as the highlight for one or two text pieces and complete the text with a calmer font that provides contrast. Love the text use as well as coloring on this icon!
I love the crop, lighting and subtle texture use on 12. The original was really nice too but this one is stunning.
OMG your interpretation of the random word is PERFECT I should have seen this coming :D YESS. Looove the texture use and coloring!
The coloring and text use on 14 are spectacular and also the blending in 15 is really gorgeous.
Wow you did find the perfect textures for both 16 and 17!! I love the lighting in 16 and the retro vibe in 17!
I'm obsessed with the composition in 18, it's so interesting! I love how the negative space keeps it clean while the shapes and levels make it interesting, and the color pops are a lovely touch as well.
