Looking for a fic about New Year's that I read a long time ago

I'm looking for a very specific fic that I remember reading a long time ago. I don't know if I remember enough to jog anyone's memory, but I would appreciate any ideas you have!
It had to do with Remus and Sirius kissing (possibly for the first time) on New Year's Eve, but each of them putting it down to the drunken state/festive cheer of the other. There might have been a scene in a stairway of someone's (James's?) house, maybe while their friends were counting down to New Years downstairs, where they worked things out and kissed.
I'm sorry-- that's even less information to go on than I thought! But I would appreciate any help in finding this fic. Thanks so much!
