Two fics where Remus Is Dying
Hi all--
I'm looking for two fics I read a while back but can't remember where. I might have found them mentioned here but I didn't find them on a quick search through the tags and LJ has been giving me a fit so I wanted to go ahead and ask while I can.
1. The first fic is one where Remus has HIV (it's not The Most Ridiculous First Name I've Ever Heard, I've got that one). I think he and Sirius meet as adults and it may be a nonmagical AU. Anyway, he won't have sex with Sirius, at least not at first, but then I think they do, and I think Lily might be a nurse and helps take care of Remus, and I'm pretty sure he dies at the end, but he and Sirius are together.
2. The second one is a magical AU where either lycanthropy or the wolfsbane potion is slowly killing Remus. I remember a scene where he was in the bath and he and Sirius try to get close but he can't get it up and Sirius goes to handle things on his own, and Remus comments that Sirius would rather imagine him how he used to look that see him wasted away. And then I think Neville maybe comes up with a potion or a cure but Remus is reluctant to try it at first.
I loved both these fics so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be forever grateful!
