(no subject)

I’m new to this community and not very familiar with it and this is my first entry. Also, I apologize for my English, I’m not a native speaker.
I was hoping you could help me with finding a fic, I read ages ago. I can only remember bits and pieces and maybe I even mix different stories into one.
The timeline is post-azkaban, maybe even after the second war. It has got flashbacks to the Marauders after Hogwarts in it or glimpses through a pensieve.
It’s not slash, as far as I remember. I think in the first chapter Sirius visits Remus the day after a full moon, but Remus doesn’t want him there. Somehow I have a vague memory of Molly being there, too and Molly and Sirius talk about Remus. So Sirius sets out on a task to find out what has become of their friendship. At some point he says something along the lines “I will make it up to you, Moony. Somehow I will”.
Later in the story, Sirius has a chat with McGonagall, and it is revealed, that while Remus was held captive by deatheaters at some point during the first war, the Order knew of his location, but could not rescue him right away, because they could not risk Snape’s position as a spy for the Order being discovered. Sirius didn’t know about this and is quite angry with Dumbledore about it (Dumbledore might be dead already, since Sirius is talking to McGonagall).
One scene that stuck with me the most was a flashback or a look through a pensieve and I’m quite sure it was Sirius and Harry sharing this together. It takes place a few days after Harry was born. Sirius is in a room in St. Mungo’s, where Remus is about to wake up, after he has been rescued from the deathaeters. Soon James joins them and they introduce Harry to Remus. But Remus is afraid to hold Harry, because he thinks he might be afraid of him, because of him being a werewolf. So when Baby-Harry actually quite likes Remus, and is happily drooling all over Remus’ bandages, the three of them somehow end up together in Remus’ bed, while Remus is desperately trying to sleep. All in all it is a really fluffy moment.
When the flashback is over, Sirius says something like “A remarkable scene, isn’t it?” Harry says, that he never really knew that his father and Lupin were this close and he is wondering how his father could ever think Remus could be the traitor. And Sirius says, that it was actually himself who convinced James that it must have been Remus.
The story doesn’t end there, I guess, but this is about everything I remember about it. I would be so happy, if someone knew this fic. I keep searching for it, but I just can’t find it. And I begin to wonder if I actually just dreamt it ;)
