I'm looking for an fic I swore I have read where Remus is a Watcher during the Lost Years. I believe he told his slayer about Sirius and his relationship with him.

Even if it doesn't seem like the right fic, please link me any where Remus is a watcher.

Never seen the fic, but that sounds like a totally legit premise, because Remus is basically Giles. ;p I'm also watching Season 2 at the moment, along with Mark over at MarkWatches.net. You follow along there, too? I love watching the show again for the first time through his eyes. He has some great insights.

I'm in the second season too, (Spike and Oz just showed up where I'm watching) and as I discovered this fic before I watched Buffy, I'd like to find it again as I now understand the premis.

He IS Giles.

I'd write the fic myself if it weren't for my lack of Fandom Mojo.

Welcome to the cult of Buffy! You are NOT prepared! I highly recommend this for Buffy read-along fun. Don't worry; he prohibits all spoilers for any later episodes. (Also, Buffy is Harry, Xander is Ron, and Willow is Hermione. The parallels go on and on, but those are the main ones, as far as I am concerned.)

I've never read Buffy fic. But no one is prepared to have their heart stomped on repeatedly by the cruel genius that is Joss Whedon.

Anyway, ff.net lists 18 Buffyverse/Potterverse crossovers with Remus as a main character. None of them sounded like what you described, but who knows? Fic summaries contain a couple of Buffy spoilers.

None of them are it. Looks like I'll have to rewrite something like it if I want to read it.

I just got to the episode of Buffy's seventeenth birthday and I know what you mean. (A friend has loose lips and has forewarned me of the terror, but I still almost don't want to watch.)
