Two fics that are driving me mad...

So the first one of these I read really recently, but just cannot find the link to...or remember enough to find it. It's like I'm having massive fail and I know it's a big, well known, obvious fic but running through the tags and checking well known authors I just can't seem to find it

The first sounds like it might be The Dating Disasters of Sirius Black? It definitely has James getting upset with Remus, and Sirius spilling it all to McGonagall at the end.

Is that scene you describe of Lily coming into the dorm from that fic? Because I wrote it, too, in These Four Kings and I'm going to be massively embarrassed if it was written already. *prepares to hide behind tail* Is the scene in dating disasters where Remus and Sirius are lying on the bed (no Lily) and Sirius tells Remus that it's all right to be attracted to boys in the Wizarding world? Or is there a Lily and I'll just go sit in a corner now?

Oh gosh maybe I've got the two confused, my brain, I swear.

It was the tenderness in the most recent part of These Four Kings that made me want to read that scene again, and I could have sworn it was in the same fic as the rest, but now you say that... I've not had a chance to reread Dating Disasters to check yet.

What part of These Four King has the dorm scene? It wouldn't surprise me if it was in your fic, the way your write Sirius is just perfect and kinda eats my brain a lot.

You're totally right, the scene I was thinking of was you!

Year 6, 2/9, has some of my favourite moments of HP fic to date, how the boys (and girl) are written is just, it's feels so right and in character. And there's an 'outside' POV, which I'm just a sucker for.

So thank you so much <3 for writing it and telling me, I would have still been looking! And now it makes sense why the most recent chapter reminded me of it!
