AU Challenge site / fic search
Way back in the day there was this challenge going around ('Beyond the Veil' I thought, but Google has told me I was wrong) for a series of one-shot AU fics that loosely tie together. The premise was that beyond the veil wasn't the afterlife but alternate universes, and the Sirius from our's kept going through and trying to get back home, but every universe was somehow not his in one subtly different yet profound way (e.g. Remus wasn't a wizard, Sirius really was the traitor, etc).
