The Dating Disasters of Sirius Black is a classic in which it takes a while for our heroes to get together.

The Line is Fine and The Line is Fine (The Line Disappears Mix) are classic fight fics.

Uh, I'm not sure if you've read it or not, its a classic, but my favorite getting together fic of all time is The Shoebox Project, which you can find as pdfs here. They fight a couple times, and it takes them FOREVER to get together - and it is also the best story of all time. Period. I definitely suggest reading it if you've not already.
