I don't mind why they're alive, but they are. (preferably with Peter being caught)
The thing I want to come out of this is for Harry to not have fought so hard against being a Slytherin.
Canon: the only views of Slytherin are Hagrid "wasn't a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin" and Draco being up himself. Even if Slytherin was still badin Harry's eyes it wouldn't have been 100% imo. Also, being brought up in the wizarding world, Harry may not have thought he could influence the hat in any way and may not have tried.
And out of that I want a James, Lily, Remus and Sirius reaction to Harry's unexpected (or expected?) sorting.
Yes. I am selective. (But anythin vaguely resembling will be welcomed. Even if it's a *completely* different but valid reason for Slytherin Harry. With Remus and Sirius mentioned somewhere . . .)
