A little help from my friends...
Ok this time I have a general request. I am really depressed tonight because I have been hinting to my best friend that I want more. Last night I sent her a text message that, without saying it point blank, let her know, I think pretty obviously, that I had been talking about her. She never responded to it and she didn't answer when I called and texted earlier today just to ask how her day was going. So...
With that in mind...I want your best rejection fics. Either Remus or Sirius lets the other know how they feel or the other just finds out somehow, and they react badly by avoiding them, claiming being gay is wrong, they're not queer, a poofter, etc., shagging lots of girls/other boys...You get the idea. Maybe even ones where one of them finally admits it, but the other doesn't believe they are Sirius serious about it. I want to read or reread them all, but the best are the ones where one of them takes a very long time to figure out and accept their true feelings and meanwhile the other is really suffering and thinking that the friendship is ruined. (A good dose of self loathing is a big plus!) At least with these two there is usually a happy ending!
