(no subject)
This is one of those searches that I am sadly embarassed to ask.
I just got the Foxmarks application on my Firefox and it is so convenient at saving all my links and be able to quickly browse through descriptions of the stories, so I have almost all of my favorite R/S stories saved...save for these ones:
1) This is a very well known story. Sirius is angry over Remus dating another guy, post Hogwarts, pre-Azkaban. The boyfriend buys Remus a coat, which is something the Marauders aren't allowed to do for Moony because it reminds him that he's poor. Sirius gets frustrated and when he gives Remus his present, another book, he says something to the effect of, 'Its a book, because we can't get you anything else, but he can.' V angry. I don't remember if they get together in the end. It's on a non-livejournal site, I do remember that!
2) Remus and Sirius I guess are on the outs, and Sirius lives the apartment above Remus'. Through some careful, subtle Sirius-esque deductions, our dear Padfoot realises (via envelopes in the letter box that are addressed to someone else) that the male visitor Remus has over reguarly is actually paying for the apartment, and Remus is sort of his...concubine or something.
I love those two stories and I have been through almost every tag in this lovely community and cannot find them. And that is a very daunting task. There are quite a few tags!
(ps if you've got any good stories about remus being done by someone else, with sirius finding out and being jealous or finding out and being mad, or sirius just wanting to do remus, that'd be lovely too. i just like stories where remus gets laid. <3)
