Lost Blanketforts fic...
I found this absolutely gorgeous R/S fic on (I think) the Blanketforts challenge site (don't remember the year) and have never been able to find it again. I have searched high and low.
It's a one-shot. I think it is a Decembrists 'Red Right Ankle' inspired fic, but I remember that Remus appears to be coming out of a fever and Sirius is there and Remus's asks what day it is and Sirius tells him. Remus realizes that it's their anniversary and says something like, "I have reservations!" and tries to get up, and Sirius laughs and says, "You have pneumonia." and puts him back in bed. They have kind of slow, almost surreal conversation about how long Remus has been sick and what happened, and then through some strangely subtle dialog between the two of them, we learn that Sirius isn't actually there. That Sirius has been dead for a very long time, and Remus is kind of imagining/remembering and is perhaps about to die himself? I'm not totally sure. It's been a while. But it was such a gorgeous, sweet and poignant fic. If anyone can find it I'd be eternally grateful.
