juvenilia by lady sisyphus/sodomquake
hello all,
i am looking for a oneshot by lady sisyphus (who i think also goes by sodomquake) from her amazing juvenilia story (on ao3) which follows the boys year-by-year (up to yr 3 anyway). in the story juvenilia, remus uses his grandmother's wand and has difficulty doing magic. sirius and james take him to ollivander's to get a wand. turn's out remus' match is a wand w/ werewolf bone pieces which, unbeknownst to him, costs 15 galleons. sirius pulls ollivander to the side and tells him to charge remus 3 galleons but not tell remus and in return, he will pay ollivander 20 galleons. ollivander agrees and remus is none the wiser.
in the oneshot i am looking for, remus needs a replacement wand for some reason while sirius is in azkaban. ollivander tells him the wand is X amt of galleons and remus is shocked that the price has gone up so much since he bought his wand at age 12. ollivander tells remus what sirius did then and, since he broke his word, charges remus a reduced fee accounting for the excess sirius had paid all those years ago.
like all of her fics, it was beautifully written and i remember reading it fondly. i'd love to reread it again but sadly her hp miserabilia lj community has been stripped of all her fics and hp drabbles (i remember one where sirius and dumbeldore talk and i think dumbledore picks up on the relationship between r/s)
