[Before supper one evening, Touma stands at the front of an empty classroom, small items such as books, still photographs, quills, and bits and pieces from his potion-making kit on the tables.]

Accio spine of lionfish!

[The small container jerks slightly, but doesn't come to him. His subsequent attempts barely get the container across the table.

[Espio is lost. Completely lost. And there's nobody in the corridors to ask for directions from, which is annoying. So naturally, when he hears a voice, he starts going towards it in the hope of somehow extracting directions without admitting he needs them. As he walks towards the open door, however...]

Ow! What the -?!

[Yep, an object has just hit him in the head. And no, he's not happy about it. Clutching the photo in one hand, he stomps right over to the door and slams it further open with a crash.]

What do you think you're doing?!

[As soon as he heard someone say "ow", Touma was headed to the door to apologize, but the door gets him in the face.]

... Practising Charms. [He indicates the photo.] My apologies.

[His wand is low, but pointed at his nose as he tries to remember a spell to stop bleeding.]

You're not doing a very good job of it!

[He somewhat carelessly tosses the photograph back to Touma.]

[Why would you throw it?]

What sort of charm sends your things flying, anyway?

Banishing Charm. [They're not actually up to it in class yet, but Touma's read ahead enough to bluff.

[Finally remembering that one healing spell, Touma raises his wand to his own nose.] Episkey. [Oh, that worked well. Sweet.]

Why do I get the feeling you "banished" it by mistake?

[As Touma heals his nose, Espio makes a small 'oh' noise that might have sounded somewhat impressed. His words don't really match up to it, though.]

Better be glad you didn't banish your nose.

[Touma will not dignify that question with a response. But he does almost smirk at Espio's "oh".]

Healing and Banishing are entirely different incantations. [So are Summoning and Banishing, genius.]

[He's going to take that as a yes.]

And Banishing and whatever it was you were trying to do aren't?

[Sigh, he caught him.] They're at least closely related charms.
