Hogwarts guide for the non-HP fans
I mentioned the other day that, geek that I am, I'd written up a guide to the Harry Potter universe for a few friends who had joined the AU wihtout really reading the books first. Just a "bare bones" (well, that was the original intention) fact sheet about the 'verse and some of the more common magical people/things. Well, given my tendency towards long-windedness and total geekdom, it ended up being 10 pages long.
Anyway, Remus!mun suggested I post it here for anyone else who might need it. It's not nearly as extensive as some of the Harry Potter web sites out there, but it gives a general idea of the world and the things and people in it, as well as some common spells, info about the school, about quidditch, etc. And, since I can't resist making even more work for myself than necessary, I spent all afternoon making it into a web page complete with table of contents and links to pictures of whatever I could find.
Yeah, I'm a geek. But it's done, so I'm sharing it here. Enjoy!
