is friends only
comment to be added
And, just to help you along with this, here are a few things you should read before friending:
1.) Look at my userinfo, read my interests, glance at the various communities I am a part of. Do you think you and I would get along good based on what you saw and/or read? Do we have common interests and tastes? Maybe we know each other from somewhere? Point is, first and foremost, please dear jeebus have justifiable reasons for adding me, because I will want to know! So, please don't answer me with something like 'omg idk! :D :D :D'
2.) Do not add me without commenting here, because I will have no idea you added me, who you are, or why you added me in the first place. In your comment, tell me who you are and why you are adding me, so I know what I'm dealing with. Smokay? Smokay. (sometimes the random friendings are perfectly fine, I suppose it all has to do with what sort of mood I am in, really.)
3.) If you get on my friends list, just to cause edramawankshit with someone else on my flist, I will disown you as a child of mother earth and will from that point on refrain from giving you any form of mercy when your future endeavores of wank fail miserably or otherwise ultimately end with the mocking of your pesron. I am protective of my friends, know that.
4.) There will be a LOT of posts about my rats, geckos, and snakes. If you have some issue with any of those animals, then I would not suggest adding me. Or, if you do still add me and I add you back regardless, just ignore about 80% of my posts. ...which is a bit retarded but mk. Every person I have ever met that has disliked rats has not had much if any experiences with them. They simply do not know. That's alright, but I can not stand when someone says how horrible rats are- that they hate them- only to find out they've never been around pet rats or learned a single ounce of information about them. Further more, there has yet to be a person I haven't 'converted' or convinced that rats really are very neat animals and pets. Every person that has been decent and had an open mind and let me introduce rats to them or actually listened to what information I had to give to them, has ended up either getting rats of their own or coming to actually appreciate the little poops. 8) As for my geckos, I have never had a complaint nor heard of anyone hating geckos or whatnot, so I'll handle that when it happens. Snakes make for a whole different form of debate, so to that...unless your opinions are based off incorrect information, I'm not going to question your feelings about them or try to 'convert' you to liking them. They are snakes, after all. Some are 666 devil spawns while others are lovable and sweet. I depends on species and how they are raised, how their temperment is going to be. But if you want to shoulder your side of an arguement over it with saying 'they're nasty, slimey, mean, gross, and unnatural!! Evil homgz it's teh devil!!1' just be prepared for a very lengthy, technical, to-the-point and sharp come-back in defense of the legless beasties.
5.) Now, other than my animals, I will post a good deal about Harry Potter or anime/manga series. Once again, there has yet to be someone that has thought ill of the HP series that I haven't, in the end, 'converted' to the dark side. All I can do at this point is tell people to just give the books a try. Start with the third, or fourth perhaps. Either is bound to peek your interest or hook you. That will move you to read the first two, then the fifth and sixth. They really are amazing books, by no means a children's series. JKRowling herself doesn't see how they are viewed as such, when the first chapter of the first book opens with a brutal double murder. Basically, I have good friends who love it, and good friends who have never even seen the movies nor read the books. If you haven't picked up on this by now- I do not force my opinions on to others. (Although fun as it may be...) All I can do is continue to love the series, and try to share it with as many friends as I can. But be warned, again; I will be posting a good deal about it. Same with the rats and whatnot, if you'll just ignore those posts, it's best to just not add me as you will be ignoring the majority of my posts. As for anime/manga...anything goes.
**(And just to make it clear; I do not ship wank-style. I do not care who has which ship as their OTP. But if MY ships are something you might get irritated with, know what they are: Snape/Hermione is my OTP, Draco/Hermione is my second, while Remus/Hermione is my third. I suppose the others I ship near an OTP-level of obsession are...Twins/Hermione, and Snape/Lily. Others I simply enjoy a lot are as follows: Draco/Ginny, Draco/Pansy (if he must be shipped in canon, this is the only one I'd accept), Pansy/Ron (FOR THE LOLZ), Pansy/Tom Riddle (that one is COMPLETELY NOT MY FAULT), Lucius/Narcissa (mmmm) and even a teeninsy bit of Snape/Narcissa but not so much rly. I do not promote nor enjoy any of the following ships: Harry/Hermione, Draco/Harry (bar bag plz), James/Sirius, James/Remus, Sirius/Remus (yes, I'm just that evil) or any other ship that includes Harry, James or Sirius really. (If you haven't noticed by now; I abhore most of the marauders.) I will never bash your ship, or in any way attempt to sink it. I will just simply not share in your fandom omggasmsquee of the previously stated ships that I do not enjoy nor promote. I expect the same from you. And while I support the Ron/Hermione ship for actually happening in the book(s), I simply find it lacks any form of interest or excitement, so outside of the books I could care less. And I wanted Tonks to die in HBP for her completely uncalled for emowhinepoutsulk of doom and retardation. Therefore, the ship Remus/Tonks irritates me slightly. The only slash pairings I like, read, play-out or write would be Draco/Theodore (hay, at least their 'friendship' is canon), Draco/Severus, and Draco/Adrian (again, this is NOT MY FAULT).
6.) Hm. A bit about my journal on a whole: You will find very little memes, if any on this journal. I post about my life, my animals, my art, my photography, my role-playing games, my fandoms and my rattery. See the trend? Yes. Personal journal. Life, mine to be precise. I don't care how much you do or don't comment. While yes, it's nice to get comments, that is not the reason I post. The comments are simply the prize in the bottom of the cereal box. MAGIC DECODER RING, YAS!!!
7.) If you are one of those TV nerds, who has 23973.5 favorite TV shows and about 99.9% of your entries revolve around such a thing, I would again advice you to just not add me as I will pretty much never be commenting on the TV insane posts. I only like a select few, those being: Lost, That 70's Show, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Hee Haw (IT'S TOO HILARIOUS TO DENY KTHX), Ghost Hunters, Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, old Nick at Nite shows (Get Smart, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi, Cheers, Dragnet, The Cosby Show...along with a slew of other various shows of the like), and Friends (r.i.p. ;-;)
fiddly bits.) To summarize: I like HP. I like anime. I like manga. I like the arts. I like being ferrety and bouncy, and often at times twitchy. I like my Hogwarts House, Slytherin, as well as my mixed-Hogwarts House, Slytherpuff. I like music, but more than not my tastes in music will not mesh oh-so-wonderfully with yours. I like some TV. I like movies. I like wizards, but not the kind with scars on their foreheads. I like darkness. I like writing dark fics. I like role-playing in dark games. I like the Ferret, as well as his human counterpart. I also like the Bookworm, the Twins, the Werewolf and the Greasy Git. I am a Slytherin through in through, with bits of Hufflepuff mixed in randomly. And, yes, that I like as well. I am snarky, I am often vain, I am greedy and obsess over anything I have any level of passion for. I defend my friends to no end. I am incredibly lazy and rarely leave my house more that twice a week. I have social anxiety disorder, which has in the past 10 years brought on depression, and caused my insomnia to hit it's peak of suckery. But on the marvelous interwebs, I am who I am inside. Corny, huh? Yeah I know, but it's okay. Online, I am pointed, overly Gryffinpop!!1 rough around the edges and there is rarely a comment from me lacking in piano-sized sarcasm. I WILL cling on to you if you are any sort of friend that takes an active interest in me and/or my journal entries.
WITH THAT BEING SAID,
IF YOU STILL FEEL THAT WE NEED TO BE FRIENDSLIKEWOAH
THEN COMMENT THIS POST WITH THE REQUESTS I MENTIONED ABOVE.
(or just a nice 'ADDMENAOWKTHX' works, too. ...sometimes...)
Usually, more often than not, on the whole, the majority of the time...
I will add you back. heartheart, lovelove, snoggleshag, and all the rest.
