Savannah drivers make me angry.
I biked for a total of approximately 20 minutes tonight. During that period of time, I had no fewer than 5 cars wrong me in some way or another, either by disregarding my right of way, or by nearing hitting me. One car ran a red light, two cars decided to pass me when I was stopped at a stop sign (is this a new trend? I'm going to have to start riding in the middle of the lane to prevent this from happening... *sigh* ...and piss them all off in the process) One car cut tried to cut across my lane when turning and almost hit me. And, get this one (because I save the best for last): One guy (in a sports car) in the opposing lane decided to do a FUCKING U-TURN in the middle of the street into my lane, missing me by a few feet. THANKS SPORTS CAR ASSHOLE.
God, no one respects bicyclists down here. I can't wait to move back up to the midwest permanently.
Maybe I need a huge headlamp for my bicycle. Because obviously the small, bright blinky ones on both ends of my fucking bike aren't good enough. I apparently need massive blinkies.
